Psaume 9:7-8

7Plus d'ennemis! Des ruines éternelles ! Des villes que tu as déracinées, le souvenir est perdu.

8Le SEIGNEUR, bouillonnant, est installé pour toujours, il établit son trône pour le jugement.

L'idée de ne pas avoir d'auto-responsabilité remonte au début de la création. Si nous ne nous jugeons pas, nous serons toujours jugés. Nous serons jugés par notre Créateur. Dieu a des normes. Il existe des lois immuables. Malgré ce qui se propage aujourd'hui à propos de «ma vérité», il n'y a en fait que «votre opinion» et la vérité. Qui prend cette décision? Dieu.

Il y a du péché. Il y a des actes et des pensées pécheurs. Ceux qui ne se repentent pas de leurs péchés seront punis. Nous serons tous jugés par le Dieu juste. Nous serons tous tenus responsables de ce que nous avons dit, pensé et fait le jour du jugement.

C’est à cause de la justice de Dieu que, dans son amour pour nous, il a créé un moyen pour nous d’avoir une communion avec lui. Le péché est une dette qui nécessite un paiement. Jésus est venu et est mort sur la croix en guise de paiement pour tout péché. Tout ce que nous avons à faire est d'abandonner nos vies à Jésus et de devenir ses disciples pour réclamer ce paiement pour nos péchés. En plus de cela, Jésus a été ressuscité des morts - annulant les conséquences du péché. La justice et la justice de Dieu l'exigeaient.

Quand nous nous tiendrons devant Dieu au grand jugement, nous n'aurons le choix qu'entre deux réponses: 1) Je réclame le sang de Jésus comme paiement de mes péchés ou 2) Je ne croyais pas que ce que j'avais fait était mal. La réponse numéro un sera examinée par Jésus qui jugera nos cœurs pour voir si nous l'avons vraiment accepté comme notre Seigneur et Savoir. La réponse numéro deux entraînera notre séparation d'avec Dieu - avec la pleine connaissance que nous avons décidé que nous avons rejeté Christ.

 Dieu est un juge juste et juste. Il ne plie pas Ses lois, pas même pour Son Fils unique. Même si Jésus n'a jamais péché, il a été fait péché à notre place afin que nous puissions avoir la vie éternelle. Dieu ne fera pas non plus d'exception pour vous. Choisir la vie.

Prière

Merci mon Dieu que vous êtes un juste juge. Vous avez défini ce que nous devons faire pour atteindre la vie éternelle en votre présence. Nous devons nous soumettre à vous et à vos lois et jugements. Nous devons nous soumettre à votre grâce et à votre miséricorde. Veuillez nous aider à le faire.

Psalm 9:7-8

7But the LORD sits enthroned forever;

he has established his throne for justice,

8and he judges the world with righteousness;

he judges the peoples with uprightness.

The idea of not having self-responsibility goes all the way back to the beginning of creation.  If we do not judge ourselves we will still be judged.  We will be judged by our Creator.  God has standards.  There are immutable laws.  Despite what is being propagated today about “my truth” there is actually only “your opinion” and The Truth.  Who makes that determination?  God.   

There is sin.  There are sinful acts and thoughts.  Those who do not repent of their sins will be punished.  We will all be judged by the righteous God.  We will each be held accountable for what we have said, thought, and done on the day of judgement.  

It is because of God’s righteousness that in His love for us He created a way for us to have fellowship with Him.  Sin is a debt that requires a payment.  Jesus came and died on the cross as a payment for all sin.  All we have to do is surrender our lives to Jesus and become His followers to claim that payment for our sins.  In addition to that Jesus was raised from the dead - nullifying the consequences of sin.  God’s righteousness and justice demanded this.

When we stand before God at the great judgement we will only have a choice between two answers:  1)  I claim the blood of Jesus as the payment for my sins or 2) I did not believe what I did was wrong.  Answer number one will be scrutinized by Jesus who will judge our hearts to see if we truly accepted Him as our Lord and Savoir.  Answer number two will result in our separation from God - with the full knowledge that we decided that we rejected Christ.

 God is a just and righteous judge.  He does not bend His laws, not even for His only Son.  Even though Jesus never sinned, He was made sin on our behalf so that we may have eternal life.  God will not make an exception for you either.  Choose life.

Prayer

Thank You God that you are a just judge.  You have set out what we must do in order to attain eternal life in Your presence.  We must submit to You and Your laws and judgments.  We must submit to Your grace and mercy.  Please help us to do so.

Zaburi 9:7-8

7Bwana anatawala milele,

ameweka kiti chake cha enzi apate kuhukumu.

8Mungu atahukumu ulimwengu kwa haki,

atatawala mataifa kwa haki.

Wazo la kutokuwa na jukumu la kibinafsi linarudi nyuma hadi mwanzo wa uumbaji. Ikiwa hatujihukumu wenyewe bado tutahukumiwa. Tutahukumiwa na Muumba wetu. Mungu ana viwango. Kuna sheria zisizobadilika. Licha ya kile kinachoenezwa leo juu ya "ukweli wangu" kwa kweli kuna tu "maoni yako" na Ukweli. Nani hufanya uamuzi huo? Mungu.

Kuna dhambi. Kuna matendo ya dhambi na mawazo. Wale ambao hawatatubu dhambi zao wataadhibiwa. Sote tutahukumiwa na Mungu mwenye haki. Kila mmoja wetu atawajibika kwa kile tulichosema, kufikiria, na kufanya siku ya hukumu.

Ni kwa sababu ya haki ya Mungu kwamba kwa upendo wake kwetu aliunda njia ya sisi kuwa na ushirika naye. Dhambi ni deni inayohitaji malipo. Yesu alikuja na kufa msalabani kama malipo ya dhambi zote. Tunachotakiwa kufanya ni kukabidhi maisha yetu kwa Yesu na kuwa wafuasi wake kudai malipo hayo ya dhambi zetu. Kwa kuongezea hayo Yesu alifufuliwa kutoka kwa wafu - akibatilisha matokeo ya dhambi. Haki na haki ya Mungu ilidai hii.

Tunaposimama mbele za Mungu kwa hukumu kuu tutakuwa na chaguo kati ya majibu mawili: 1) Nadai damu ya Yesu kama malipo ya dhambi zangu au 2) Sikuamini kile nilichofanya ni makosa. Jibu namba moja litachunguzwa na Yesu ambaye atahukumu mioyo yetu kuona ikiwa kweli tulimpokea kama Bwana na Mwokozi wetu. Jibu namba mbili litasababisha kujitenga kwetu na Mungu - tukiwa na maarifa kamili kwamba tuliamua kuwa tumemkataa Kristo.

 Mungu ni hakimu mwenye haki na mwenye haki. Hainamizi sheria Zake, hata kwa Mwanawe wa pekee. Ingawa Yesu hakuwahi kutenda dhambi, alifanywa dhambi kwa niaba yetu ili tupate uzima wa milele. Mungu hatafanya ubaguzi kwako pia. Chagua maisha.

Maombi

Asante Mungu kwa kuwa wewe ni mwamuzi wa haki. Umeweka kile tunachopaswa kufanya ili kupata uzima wa milele mbele yako. Lazima tuwasilishe kwako na sheria na hukumu zako. Lazima tujisalimishe kwa neema na rehema zako. Tafadhali tusaidie kufanya hivyo.

Psaumes 135:5-7

5Je sais bien, moi, que le SEIGNEUR (YHWH) est grand, que notre Seigneur est au-dessus de tous les dieux.

6Tout ce que le SEIGNEUR veut, il le fait, dans le ciel et sur la terre, dans les mers et dans tous les abîmes.

7Il fait monter les nuages des extrémités de la terre, il produit les éclairs avec la pluie, il tire le vent de ses trésors.

L'idée de la révélation générale est que nous pouvons voir qu'il y a quelque chose de plus grand que nous qui avons créé non seulement nous, mais tout ce que nous expérimentons dans le monde naturel. Même ceux qui s'abonnent à un «Big Bang» n'ont pas expliqué ce qu'il y avait là pour faire un «Big Bang».

Une des choses que je faisais quand j'étais enfant vivant dans le Texas très rural était de marcher le long de notre route non pavée et de penser à Dieu. J'essaierais de retracer ce que cela a dû être à une époque antérieure à la création de l'univers. Nous en voyons des aperçus dans la Bible. Je penserais au vide d'espace - d'où vient-il? J'essaierais de me concentrer sur l'idée d'éternité - comment Dieu existe-t-il avant qu'il y ait une chose telle que le temps?

Ce sont des thèmes auxquels je pense encore. Mais quand je vois la grandeur du monde. Toutes les merveilles géologiques merveilleuses, grottes, montagnes, deltas, déserts, mers et vallées verdoyantes et l'immense variété de flore et de faune, je ne peux m'empêcher de me sentir impressionné par le Créateur.

Pensez à vous. Comment tu peux respirer. Comment tu es capable de marcher. Comment vous êtes capable de lire. Je suis actuellement en train de taper sur un clavier en utilisant des symboles que je reconnais comme des lettres pour construire des mots, des phrases et des phrases que mon esprit produit sous forme de pensées. Comme c'est étonnant que mes doigts sachent sur quelles touches du clavier appuyer pour représenter mes pensées. Comme il est étonnant que je sois capable de m'exprimer à travers des mots que vous aussi, vous comprenez et comprenez. C'est incroyable!

Prenez le temps d'aller vous asseoir quelque part - de préférence à l'extérieur - et regardez simplement le ciel. Regardez les arbres. Regardez l'herbe. Sentez le vent sur votre visage. Laissez votre esprit vagabonder. Puis pensez délibérément à toutes les choses autour de vous que Dieu a créées. Sachez que Dieu veut une relation personnelle avec vous.

Oh mon Dieu, roi de l'univers, tu as créé toutes les bonnes choses. Ouvrez nos yeux afin que nous puissions voir les miracles qui nous entourent.

5For I know that the LORD is great,

and that our Lord is above all gods.

6Whatever the LORD pleases, he does,

in heaven and on earth,

in the seas and all deeps.

7He it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth,

who makes lightnings for the rain

and brings forth the wind from his storehouses

The idea of general revelation is that we can see that there is something greater than us who created not only us, but all that we experience in the natural world.  Even those who subscribe to a “Big Bang” have failed to explain what was there in order to make a “Big Bang.”

One of the things I used to do as a child living in very rural Texas was to walk along our unpaved road and think about God.  I would try to trace back what it must have been like in a time before the universe was made.  We see glimpses of this in the Bible.  I would think of the void of space -- where did it come from?  I would try to wrap my mind around the idea of eternity -- how does God exist before there is such a thing as time?

These are themes that I still think about.  But when I see the grandeur of the world.  All the wonderful geological wonders, caves, mountains, deltas, deserts, seas, and verdant valleys and the huge variety of flora and fauna I cannot help but feel in awe of the Creator.

Think about yourself.  How you are able to breathe.  How you are able to walk.  How you are able to read.  I am currently touch-typing on a keyboard using symbols that I recognize as letters to construct words and sentences and phrases that my mind produces as thoughts.  How amazing that my fingers know which keys on the keyboard to press in order to represent my thoughts.  How amazing that I am able to express myself through words that you, too, understand and comprehend.  It is incredible!

Take some time to go sit somewhere - preferably outdoors - and just look up at the sky.  Look at the trees.  Look at the grass.  Feel the wind on your face.  Let your mind wander.  Then purposefully think about all the things around you that God has created.  Know that God wants a personal relationship with you.

Prayer

Oh God, King of the Universe, You have created every good thing.  Open our eyes that we may see the miracles that are all around us.

Zaburi 135:5-7

5Ninajua ya kuwa Bwana ni mkuu,

kwamba Bwana wetu ni mkuu kuliko miungu yote.

6Bwana hufanya lolote apendalo,

mbinguni na duniani,

katika bahari na vilindi vyake vyote.

7Hufanya mawingu kupanda kutoka miisho ya dunia;

hupeleka umeme wa radi pamoja na mvua

na huleta upepo kutoka ghala zake.

Wazo la ufunuo wa jumla ni kwamba tunaweza kuona kwamba kuna kitu kikubwa zaidi kuliko sisi ambaye hatuumba sisi tu, bali yale yote tunayoyapata katika ulimwengu wa asili. Hata wale wanaojiunga na "Bang Big" wameshindwa kuelezea ni nini kilikuwepo ili kufanya "Bang Big."

Moja ya mambo niliyokuwa nikifanya nikiwa mtoto nikiishi katika vijijini sana Texas ilikuwa kutembea kando ya barabara yetu isiyokuwa na lami na kufikiria juu ya Mungu. Ningejaribu kufuatilia jinsi ilivyokuwa katika wakati kabla ya ulimwengu kuumbwa. Tunaona maoni ya hii katika Biblia. Ningefikiria utupu wa nafasi - ilitoka wapi? Ningejaribu kuzunguka akili yangu juu ya wazo la umilele - je! Mungu yukoje kabla ya kuwa na kitu kama wakati?

Hizi ni mada ambazo bado ninafikiria. Lakini ninapoona ukuu wa ulimwengu. Maajabu yote mazuri ya kijiolojia, mapango, milima, deltas, jangwa, bahari, na mabonde yenye mimea yenye majani na anuwai kubwa ya mimea na wanyama siwezi kujizuia kuogopa Muumba.

Fikiria juu yako mwenyewe. Jinsi unavyoweza kupumua. Jinsi unavyoweza kutembea. Jinsi unavyoweza kusoma. Ninaandika kwa kugusa kwenye kibodi kwa kutumia alama ambazo ninatambua kama herufi za kujenga maneno na sentensi na vishazi ambavyo akili yangu inazalisha kama mawazo. Inashangaza sana kwamba vidole vyangu vinajua ni funguo gani kwenye kibodi kubonyeza ili kuwakilisha mawazo yangu. Inashangaza sana kwamba ninaweza kujieleza kupitia maneno ambayo wewe pia, unaelewa na kuelewa. Ni ajabu!

Chukua muda wa kwenda kukaa mahali pengine - ikiwezekana nje - na angalia tu angani. Angalia miti. Angalia nyasi. Sikia upepo usoni mwako. Acha akili yako itangatanga. Kisha kwa makusudi fikiria juu ya vitu vyote karibu na wewe ambavyo Mungu ameumba. Jua kuwa Mungu anataka uhusiano wa kibinafsi na wewe.

Ee Mungu, Mfalme wa Ulimwengu, Umeumba kila kitu kizuri. Fungua macho yetu ili tuweze kuona miujiza ambayo iko karibu nasi.

Matthieu 5:14-16

14C'est vous qui êtes la lumière du monde. Une ville située sur une montagne ne peut être cachée. 15On n'allume pas une lampe pour la mettre sous le boisseau, mais on la met sur le porte-lampe, et elle brille pour tous ceux qui sont dans la maison. 16Que votre lumière brille ainsi devant les gens, afin qu'ils voient vos belles œuvres et glorifient votre Père qui est dans les cieux.

Ayant grandi sur les plaines côtières plates du Texas, je n'ai jamais vraiment saisi le sens de ce verset. Vous pouvez voir que la lueur des lumières de la ville est une mode de dôme de la grande ville la plus proche de l'endroit où j'ai grandi, mais ce n'était qu'une lumière terne qui était au bord de l'horizon. Quand vous allez en Israël et que vous sortez dans le désert de Judée la nuit, ce que signifie ce verset est très évident. Vous pouvez clairement voir Jérusalem. C'est le point culminant. De loin, cela ressemble à une étoile assise toute seule. En vous rapprochant, vous commencez à reconnaître plusieurs sources de lumière, mais l'image globale est celle de quelque chose qui brille sur le sommet de la colline.

Si vous êtes chrétien et portez en vous l’amour du Christ et le salut du Christ, vous ne pouvez pas le cacher. Cela montrera. Nous ne sommes pas sauvés à cause de nos bonnes œuvres, mais notre salut produit de bonnes œuvres. Vous ne pouvez pas être chrétien sans que l'amour du Christ ne s'échappe de vous.

Il devrait y avoir quelque chose de très évidemment différent chez vous. Lorsque le Saint-Esprit habite en vous, il est impossible de l'éteindre. Les chrétiens ont de l'espoir. Nous avons de la joie. Nous avons la paix. Les avoir automatiquement nous différencie du monde. Nous vivons pour être les intendants de ce que le Maître a mis sous notre direction. Nous sommes des serviteurs faisant la demande de notre Maître. Nous faisons ces choses par amour pour Dieu et comme un devoir attendu.

Les lumières d'une ville sur une colline ne sont pas là une nuit et disparaissent le lendemain. Tant que la ville existera, les lumières seront allumées la nuit. La même chose est vraie avec notre salut. Tant que Dieu est et sera, nous aurons notre salut. De plus, nous devons faire connaître ce salut par nos bonnes actions. Nous ne faisons pas ces choses pour nous glorifier, mais pour donner toute gloire, honneur et louange au Dieu de notre salut.

Prière

Merci, ô Dieu, pour la lumière du salut que tu as placée en nous. Puissions-nous briller de la joie de ton amour et de ton salut. Que les autres voient à quel point tu les aimes à travers l'exemple de combien tu m'aimes. Aide-moi à être un porteur contagieux de ton amour et de tes bénédictions.

Matthew 5:14-16

14“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Growing up on the flat coastal plains of Texas, I never really grasped the meaning of this verse.  You can see the glow of city lights is a dome fashion from the large city closest to where I grew up, but it was only a dull light that was on the edge of the horizon.  When you go to Israel and go out into the Judean Desert at night it is very evident what this verse means.  You can clearly see Jerusalem.  It is the highest point.  From far away it looks like a star sitting all by itself.  As you get closer, you start to recognize multiple light sources, but the overall image is of something glowing on the hilltop.

If you are a Christian and carry the love of Christ and Christ’s salvation in you, you cannot hide it.  It will show.  We are not saved because of our good works but our salvation produces good works.  You cannot be a Christian without the love of Christ leaking out of you.

There should be something very evidently different about you.  When the Holy Spirit dwells within you it is impossible to quench it.  Christians have hope.  We have joy.  We have peace.  Having these automatically makes us different from the world.  We are living in order to be stewards of what the Master has put under our management.  We are servants doing the bidding of our Master.  We do these things out of love for God and as an expected duty.

The lights of a city on a hill are not there one night and gone the next.  As long as the city exists, the lights will be on at night.  The same is true with our salvation.  As long as God is and will be, we will have our salvation.  Further, we are to make that salvation known through our good deeds.  We do not do these things to glorify ourselves, but to give all glory, honor, and praise to the God of our salvation.

Prayer

Thank You, oh God, for the light of salvation that You have placed within us.  May we shine with the joy of Your love and salvation.  May others see how much You love them through the example of how much You love me.  Help me to be a contagious carrier of Your love and blessings.

Mathayo 5:14-16

14“Ninyi ni nuru ya ulimwengu. Mji uliojengwa kilimani hauwezi kufichika. 15Wala watu hawawashi taa na kuifunika kwa bakuli. Badala yake, huiweka kwenye kinara chake, nayo hutoa mwanga kwa kila mtu aliyemo ndani ya ile nyumba. 16Vivyo hivyo, nuru yenu iangaze mbele ya watu, ili wapate kuona matendo yenu mema wamtukuze Baba yenu aliye mbinguni.

Lazima kuwe na kitu dhahiri tofauti juu yako. Wakati Roho Mtakatifu anakaa ndani yako haiwezekani kuizima. Wakristo wana tumaini. Tunayo furaha. Tuna amani. Kuwa na hizi moja kwa moja hutufanya tuwe tofauti na ulimwengu. Tunaishi ili kuwa mawakili wa kile Bwana ameweka chini ya usimamizi wetu. Sisi ni watumishi wanaofanya zabuni ya Bwana wetu. Tunafanya mambo haya kwa kumpenda Mungu na kama jukumu linalotarajiwa.

Taa za jiji juu ya kilima hazipo usiku mmoja na kwenda uliofuata. Mradi jiji lipo, taa zitawashwa usiku. Ndivyo ilivyo na wokovu wetu. Alimradi Mungu yuko na atakuwa, tutapata wokovu wetu. Zaidi ya hayo, tunapaswa kuufanya wokovu huo ujulikane kupitia matendo yetu mema. Hatufanyi vitu hivi kujitukuza sisi wenyewe, lakini kutoa utukufu wote, heshima, na sifa kwa Mungu wa wokovu wetu.

Asante, ee Mungu, kwa nuru ya wokovu ambayo Umeweka ndani yetu. Na tuangaze na furaha ya upendo wako na wokovu. Naomba wengine waone ni jinsi gani unawapenda kupitia mfano wa jinsi unavyonipenda. Nisaidie kuwa mbebaji anayeambukiza wa upendo wako na baraka.

Deutéronome 7:9

9Tu sauras donc que c'est le SEIGNEUR (YHWH), ton Dieu, qui est Dieu, le Dieu digne de confiance, qui garde l'alliance et la fidélité jusqu'à la millième génération envers ceux qui l'aiment et qui observent ses commandements.  

Dieu est fidèle. Dieu est toujours là. Dieu est toujours le même. En lisant et en étudiant la Bible, nous voyons de plus en plus de facettes de qui est Dieu, mais Dieu est resté le même. Nos perceptions de Dieu changent à mesure que nous nous rapprochons de lui. Notre compréhension de Dieu devient plus claire à mesure que nous lisons et étudions la Bible. Nous ne pourrons jamais saisir la plénitude de Dieu. Je pense que nous ne pourrons même pas saisir l'ampleur du moment où nous nous tenons devant Sa présence au Ciel. Mais Dieu est toujours et à jamais fidèle.

Si nous sentons que Dieu n'est pas fidèle, c'est notre problème. D'une manière ou d'une autre, nous nous sommes éloignés de Dieu. Ce n'est pas Dieu qui bouge.

Si vous vous sentez seul et trahi par Dieu, cherchez-vous ou, mieux encore, cherchez Dieu. Dieu est là. Dieu est disponible. Dieu est proche. Dieu vous voit clairement. Dieu t'aime. Dieu est fidèle.

Prière

Oh Dieu de l'univers, créateur de toutes choses. Tu me connais. Vous me voyez. Tu m'aimes. Puis-je rechercher activement ta volonté pour ma vie. Puis-je parler activement aux autres de votre grandeur. Que je trouve grâce à vos yeux afin que je puisse être appelé un fidèle serviteur.

Deuteronomy 7:9

9Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations, 

God is faithful.  God is always there.  God is ever the same.  As we read and study the Bible we see more and more facets of who God is, but God has remained the same.  Our perceptions of God change as we get closer to Him.  Our understanding of God becomes clearer as we read and study the Bible.  We will never be able to grasp the fullness of God.  I think we will not even be able to grasp the magnitude of when we stand before His presence in Heaven.  But God is always and forever faithful.

If we feel that God is not faithful, it is our problem.  In some manner or fashion we have moved away from God.  It is not God who moves.

If you are feeling alone and betrayed by God, search yourself, or better yet, seek God.  God is there.  God is available.  God is near.  God clearly sees you.  God loves you.  God is faithful.

Prayer

Oh God of the universe, Creator of all things.  You know me.  You see me.  You love me.  May I actively seek Your will for my life.  May I actively tell others about Your greatness.  May I find favor in Your eyes so that I may be called a faithful servant.

9Basi ujue kwamba Bwana Mungu wako ndiye Mungu; ni Mungu mwaminifu, anayetunza Agano la upendo kwa maelfu ya vizazi vya wale wanaompenda na kuzishika amri zake.

Mungu ni mwaminifu. Mungu yuko kila wakati. Mungu ni yeye yule yule. Tunaposoma na kujifunza Biblia tunaona sura zaidi na zaidi za Mungu ni nani, lakini Mungu amebaki vile vile. Maoni yetu juu ya Mungu hubadilika tunapokaribia Yeye. Uelewa wetu juu ya Mungu unakuwa wazi zaidi tunaposoma na kujifunza Biblia. Hatutaweza kamwe kuelewa utimilifu wa Mungu. Nadhani hatutaweza hata kuelewa ukubwa wa wakati tunasimama mbele ya uwepo Wake Mbinguni. Lakini Mungu ni mwaminifu siku zote na milele.

Ikiwa tunahisi kuwa Mungu si mwaminifu, ni shida yetu. Kwa namna fulani au mtindo tumehama mbali na Mungu. Sio Mungu anayetembea.

Ikiwa unajisikia upweke na kusalitiwa na Mungu, jitafute mwenyewe, au bora bado, mtafute Mungu. Mungu yupo. Mungu anapatikana. Mungu yuko karibu. Mungu anakuona wazi. Mungu anakupenda. Mungu ni mwaminifu.

Ee Mungu wa ulimwengu, Muumba wa vitu vyote. Unanijua. Unaniona. Unanipenda. Naomba nitafute mapenzi yako kwa bidii kwa maisha yangu. Naomba niwaambie wengine kikamilifu juu ya ukuu wako. Naomba nipate kibali machoni pako ili niitwe mtumishi mwaminifu.

25Yesu akamwambia, “Mimi ndiye huo ufufuo na uzima. Yeye aniaminiye mimi, hata akifa atakuwa anaishi 26na yeyote aishiye na kuniamini hatakufa kabisa hata milele. Je, unasadiki haya?”

Je! Unaamini hii? Ikiwa una maswali, tafadhali nifikie mimi au mchungaji wako. Ni kwa njia ya Kristo Yesu tu ndio tunayo uzima wa milele. Jiulize swali hili na ujibu kwa uaminifu.

2 Corinthiens 12:9

9et il m'a dit : « Ma grâce te suffit, car ma puissance s'accomplit dans la faiblesse. » Je mettrai donc bien plus volontiers ma fierté dans mes faiblesses, pour que la puissance du Christ repose sur moi.

Ces enseignants et prédicateurs de «l'évangile» de la richesse et de la prospérité ignorent ce verset. Pourquoi? En lisant ce verset dans son contexte, nous voyons que Paul est malade. La réponse de Jésus à la prière de Paul est un «NON! Je ne vous enlèverai pas cela parce que dans votre faiblesse ma puissance est rendue parfaite.

La grâce et l’amour de Dieu se manifestent à travers notre faiblesse. Dieu fait des choses puissantes et puissantes à travers ceux qui sont faibles et impuissants. Être pauvre, malade et impuissant ne nuit pas au message de l'Évangile. Notre foi en Christ en tant que notre Sauveur et Seigneur est rendue plus évidente aux autres et à nous-mêmes lorsque nous arrivons à la prise de conscience profonde que nous ne pouvons rien faire.

Nous sommes faibles, malades et impuissants. Peu importe à quelle hauteur nous montons économiquement, cela ne nous donnera pas le salut. Peu importe à quel point nous sommes en bonne santé et en forme, nous sommes capables de vivre pour toujours. Quelle que soit l'influence que nous gagnons, nous pouvons changer notre statut de pécheurs.

En fait, ce sont ceux qui sont pauvres, malades et impuissants qui semblent s'accrocher le plus fébrilement à Dieu parce qu'ils se rendent compte que seul Dieu les soutient. Pour de nombreux chrétiens, notre christianisme est un christianisme confortable. Nous vivons dans le confort et la sécurité. Nous remercions Dieu avec désinvolture pour les choses que nous avons, mais nous ne parvenons pas à apprécier pleinement ce que Dieu a fait pour nous à travers le Christ Jésus.

Nous devons nous rappeler qu'en tant que chrétiens, ce monde n'est pas notre destination finale. Notre faiblesse, notre maladie et notre pauvreté ne sont pas proportionnelles à notre manque de foi, comme certains l'enseignent. Tout comme notre force, notre santé et notre richesse ne sont pas proportionnelles à notre abondance de foi. Notre temps dans ce monde est limité. Il est mesuré devant nous. Nous devons être de bons intendants de ce qui nous a été attribué. Nous devons partager la Bonne Nouvelle de Jésus-Christ avec les autres - peu importe notre statut, notre santé ou nos revenus.

Nous sommes achetés avec le sang de Jésus. Nous sommes des serviteurs et des intendants du roi des rois et du seigneur des seigneurs. C'est par notre compréhension et notre reconnaissance de notre indignité et de nos faiblesses que nous nous humilions au service de notre Seigneur. Si nous sommes malades ou faibles, ce n'est pas une punition de Dieu. Ce n'est pas une peste qui nous est envoyée. C'est l'un des résultats de notre vie dans un monde de péché. Mais cela ne nie pas notre devoir de continuer à faire la volonté et les ordres de notre Seigneur et Sauveur. Dans notre faiblesse, nous pouvons nous vanter d'un Sauveur qui a vaincu le péché et la mort, et par ses actions et notre confession de foi en lui, nous aussi sommes des vainqueurs du péché et de la mort.

Ne prenez pas la réponse «NON» à la prière comme une réprimande. Dieu vous aime toujours. Ce n'est pas parce qu'on vous a dit NON que vous êtes en disgrâce auprès de Dieu. Cela signifie simplement que Dieu a un plan pour vous que vous devez découvrir.

Prière

Cher Seigneur bienveillant, merci d'avoir un plan pour ma vie. Aidez-moi à trouver vos voies. Aide-moi à réaliser que tu m'as béni si richement, même dans les moments où je pense que je suis ignoré. Puis-je chercher votre visage. Puis-je rechercher votre volonté. Puis-je vivre ma vie pour toi.

2 Corinthians 12:9

9But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 

Those teachers and preachers of the wealth and prosperity “gospel” ignore this verse.  Why?  As we read this verse in context, we see that Paul is unwell.  Jesus’ answer to Paul’s prayer is a resounding “NO!  I will not take this away from you because in your weakness my power is made perfect.”  

God’s grace and love is demonstrated through our weakness.  God does things that are mighty and powerful through those who are weak and powerless.  Being poor, sickly, and powerless are not detrimental to the Gospel message.  Our faith in Christ as our Savior and Lord is made more evident to others and ourselves when we come to the deep realization that we can do nothing.  

We are weak, ill, and powerless.  No matter how high we climb economically it will not give us salvation.  No matter how healthy and fit we become are we able to live forever.  No matter how much influence we gain can we change our status of sinners.

In fact, it is those who are poor, ill, and powerless who seem to cling the most feverently to God because they realize that it is only God that sustains them.  For many Christians, our Christianity is a comfortable Christianity.  We live in comfort and safety.  We casually thank God for the things we have but fail to fully appreciate what God has done for us through Christ Jesus.

We must remember that as Christians, this world is not our final destination.  Our weakness, illness, and poverty are not proportionate to our lack of faith, as some teach.  Just as our strength, health, and wealth are not proportionate to our abundance of faith.  Our time in this world is limited.  It is measured out before us.  We are to be good stewards of what has been allotted to us.  We are to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others - no matter our station, health, or income.

We are bought with the blood of Jesus.  We are servants and stewards of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  It is through our understanding and acknowledgement of our unworthiness and weaknesses that we humble ourselves in the service of our Lord.  If we are ill or weak it is not a punishment from God.  It is not a pestilence sent on us.  It is one of the results of us living in a world of sin.  But that does not negate our duty to continue to do the will and bidding of our Lord and Savior.  In our weakness we can boast of a Savior who defeated both sin and death, and through His actions and our confession of faith in Him, we, too, are overcomers of sin and death.

Do not take the answer of “NO” to prayer as a reproof.  God always loves you.  Just because you have been told NO does not mean that you are out of favor with God.  It just means that God has a plan for you that you need to discover.

Dear Gracious Lord, thank You that You have a plan for my life.  Help me to find Your ways.  Help me to realize that You have blessed me so richly, even in the times I think I am being ignored.  May I seek Your face.  May I seek Your will.  May I live my life for You.

2 Wakorintho 12:9

9Lakini aliniambia, “Neema yangu inakutosha, kwa kuwa uweza wangu hukamilika katika udhaifu.” Kwa hiyo nitajisifu kwa furaha zaidi kuhusu udhaifu wangu, ili uweza wa Kristo ukae juu yangu. 

Walimu hao na wahubiri wa "injili" ya utajiri na ustawi wanapuuza aya hii. Kwa nini? Tunaposoma mstari huu kwa muktadha, tunaona kwamba Paulo hajambo. Jibu la Yesu kwa maombi ya Paulo ni "HAPANA!" Sitakuondolea hii kwa sababu katika udhaifu wako nguvu yangu imekamilika. ”

Neema ya Mungu na upendo huonyeshwa kupitia udhaifu wetu. Mungu hufanya vitu vyenye nguvu na nguvu kupitia wale walio dhaifu na wasio na nguvu. Kuwa masikini, mgonjwa, na asiye na nguvu sio hatari kwa ujumbe wa Injili. Imani yetu kwa Kristo kama Mwokozi na Bwana wetu inadhihirishwa zaidi kwa wengine na sisi wenyewe tunapofikia utambuzi wa kina kwamba hatuwezi kufanya chochote.

Sisi ni dhaifu, wagonjwa, na wasio na nguvu. Haijalishi ni juu gani tunapanda kiuchumi haitatupa wokovu. Haijalishi jinsi tunavyokuwa na afya njema na tuna uwezo wa kuishi milele. Haijalishi ni kiasi gani cha ushawishi tunaweza kupata tunaweza kubadilisha hali yetu ya wenye dhambi.

Kwa kweli, ni wale ambao ni maskini, wagonjwa, na wasio na nguvu ambao wanaonekana kushikamana zaidi kwa Mungu kwa nguvu kwa sababu wanatambua kuwa ni Mungu tu ndiye huwategemeza. Kwa Wakristo wengi, Ukristo wetu ni Ukristo wa starehe. Tunaishi kwa raha na usalama. Sisi kwa kawaida tunamshukuru Mungu kwa vitu tulivyo navyo lakini tunashindwa kufahamu kabisa kile Mungu ametufanyia kupitia Kristo Yesu.

Lazima tukumbuke kwamba kama Wakristo, ulimwengu huu sio mwisho wetu. Udhaifu wetu, magonjwa, na umasikini hayalingani na ukosefu wetu wa imani, kama wengine wanavyofundisha. Kama vile nguvu zetu, afya, na utajiri wetu hazilingani na wingi wa imani yetu. Wakati wetu katika ulimwengu huu ni mdogo. Inapimwa mbele yetu. Tunapaswa kuwa mawakili wazuri wa kile tulichopewa. Tunapaswa kushiriki Habari Njema ya Yesu Kristo na wengine - bila kujali kituo chetu, afya, au mapato.

Tumenunuliwa kwa damu ya Yesu. Sisi ni watumishi na mawakili wa Mfalme wa Wafalme na Bwana wa Mabwana. Ni kupitia uelewa wetu na kutambua kutostahiki na udhaifu wetu ndio tunajinyenyekeza katika utumishi wa Bwana wetu. Ikiwa sisi ni wagonjwa au dhaifu sio adhabu kutoka kwa Mungu. Sio tauni iliyotumwa juu yetu. Ni moja ya matokeo ya sisi kuishi katika ulimwengu wa dhambi. Lakini hiyo haikosi jukumu letu la kuendelea kufanya mapenzi na zabuni ya Bwana na Mwokozi wetu. Katika udhaifu wetu tunaweza kujivunia Mwokozi ambaye alishinda dhambi na mauti, na kupitia matendo yake na kukiri kwetu kwa imani kwake, sisi pia ni washindi wa dhambi na mauti.

Usichukue jibu la "HAPANA" kwa maombi kama karipio. Mungu anakupenda siku zote. Kwa sababu umeambiwa HAPANA haimaanishi kuwa haupendelewi na Mungu. Inamaanisha tu kwamba Mungu ana mpango kwako ambao unahitaji kugundua.

Bwana Mpendwa mwenye Neema, asante kwa kuwa una mpango wa maisha yangu. Nisaidie kupata njia zako. Nisaidie kutambua kuwa umenibariki sana, hata katika nyakati ambazo nadhani ninapuuzwa. Naomba utafute uso wako. Naomba nitafute mapenzi yako. Naomba kuishi maisha yangu kwa ajili yako.
