Ésaïe 55:6-7

6Recherchez le Seigneur, maintenant qu'il se laisse trouver. Faites appel à lui, maintenant qu'il est près de vous. 7Que la personne méchante renonce à ses pratiques! Que l'individu malveillant renonce à ses pensées! Qu'il revienne au Seigneur, car il aura de la tendresse pour lui! Qu'il revienne à notre Dieu, car il accorde un large pardon!

Quel Dieu génial nous avons. Dieu souhaite être en communion avec nous. Une fois que nous reconnaissons notre péché, notre rébellion contre Sa loi, notre désobéissance ou même notre apathie, Dieu est là pour nous accepter. La première chose que nous devons savoir, c'est que Dieu nous aime. La deuxième chose que nous devons savoir est que nous devons accepter Dieu selon les conditions de Dieu et non selon les nôtres. Nous devons faire face à la réalité que nous sommes des pécheurs - et en tant que tels - avons profondément offensé Dieu. Nous devons admettre que nous avons besoin de Dieu.

Dieu, dans sa miséricorde bienveillante, a créé un moyen pour nous d'entrer en sa présence. Jésus-Christ a payé le prix de notre désobéissance, de notre orgueil égoïste et de nos péchés. Tout ce que nous avons à faire est d'admettre que nous sommes des pécheurs et d'accepter la Seigneurie de Jésus - celui qui a payé pour nos péchés.

À partir de là, nous travaillons sur notre relation avec Dieu avec l'aide du Saint-Esprit. Nous abandonnons (abandonnons) nos mauvaises voies. Nous abandonnons nos pensées injustes. Nous nous concentrons sur la sainteté de Dieu. Nous nous concentrons sur l'amour et la grâce que Dieu nous a accordés et nous aimons et faisons preuve de grâce envers ceux qui sont dans notre sphère d'influence.

Dieu est proche et peut être trouvé. Dieu veille et attend celui qui le cherche. Louez Dieu!

Prière

Merci Seigneur d'être prêt à nous accepter après avoir reconnu notre profond besoin de Toi. Que le Saint-Esprit continue à travailler en nous et à travers nous alors que nous supprimons les choses qui nous empêchent de vous servir plus pleinement. Merci d'avoir compassion de nous. Merci pour votre pardon. Merci pour Jésus afin que nous puissions avoir une communion avec vous.

Isaiah 55:6-7

6“Seek the LORD while he may be found;

call upon him while he is near;

7let the wicked forsake his way,

and the unrighteous man his thoughts;

let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him,

and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

What an awesome God we have.  God wishes to be in fellowship with us.  Once we acknowledge our sin, our rebellion against His law, our disobedience or even apathy God is there to accept us.  The first thing for us to know is that God loves us.  The second thing that we must know is that we must accept God on God’s terms and not our own.  We must face the reality that we are sinners - and as such - have deeply affronted God.  We must admit that we need God.

God, in His gracious mercy, has created a way for us to enter His presence.  Jesus Christ paid the price for our disobedience, our selfish pride, and our sins.  All that we have to do is admit that we are sinners and accept the Lordship of Jesus - the one who paid for our sins.

From that point forward we work on our relationship with God with the aid of the Holy Spirit.  We forsake (give up) our wicked ways.  We forsake our unrighteous thoughts.  We focus on the holiness of God.  We focus on the love and grace that God has afforded us and we love and show grace to those who are within our sphere of influence.

God is near and may be found.  God is watching and waiting for the one who seeks Him.  Praise God!

Prayer

Thank You Lord for being ready to accept us after we recognize our deep need for You.  May You Holy Spirit continue to work in and on and through us as we pare away the things that keep us from more fully serving You.  Thank You for having compassion on us.  Thank You for Your pardon.  Thank You for Jesus that we may have fellowship with You.

Isaya 55:6-7

6Mtafuteni Bwana maadamu anapatikana;

mwiteni maadamu yu karibu.

7Mtu mwovu na aiache njia yake,

na mtu mbaya na ayaache mawazo yake.

Yeye na amrudie Bwana, naye atamrehemu,

arudi kwa Mungu wetu, kwa kuwa atamsamehe bure kabisa.

Tunaye Mungu wa kutisha. Mungu anataka kuwa katika ushirika na sisi. Mara tu tunapotambua dhambi zetu, uasi wetu dhidi ya sheria yake, kutotii kwetu au hata kutojali Mungu yuko hapo kutukubali. Jambo la kwanza kwetu kujua ni kwamba Mungu anatupenda. Jambo la pili ambalo lazima tujue ni kwamba lazima tumpokee Mungu kwa masharti ya Mungu na sio yetu wenyewe. Lazima tukabiliane na ukweli kwamba sisi ni wenye dhambi - na kwa hivyo - tumemkasirikia Mungu. Lazima tukubali kwamba tunamhitaji Mungu.

Mungu, kwa rehema zake za neema, ameunda njia ya sisi kuingia katika uwepo Wake. Yesu Kristo alilipa gharama ya kutotii kwetu, kiburi chetu cha ubinafsi, na dhambi zetu. Yote ambayo tunapaswa kufanya ni kukubali kwamba sisi ni wenye dhambi na tunakubali Ukuu wa Yesu - yule ambaye alilipia dhambi zetu.

Kuanzia hapo kuendelea tunafanya kazi juu ya uhusiano wetu na Mungu kwa msaada wa Roho Mtakatifu. Tunaacha (kuacha) njia zetu mbaya. Tunaacha mawazo yetu yasiyo ya haki. Tunazingatia utakatifu wa Mungu. Tunazingatia upendo na neema ambayo Mungu ametupatia na tunapenda na kuonyesha neema kwa wale walio ndani ya uwanja wetu wa ushawishi.

Mungu yuko karibu na anaweza kupatikana. Mungu anamwangalia na kumngojea yule anayemtafuta. Mungu asifiwe!

Maombi

Asante Bwana kwa kuwa tayari kutukubali baada ya kutambua mahitaji yetu ya kina kwako. Naomba wewe Roho Mtakatifu uendelee kufanya kazi ndani na ndani na kupitia sisi tunapoondoa vitu ambavyo vinatuzuia kukuhudumia kikamilifu. Asante kwa kutuhurumia. Asante kwa msamaha wako. Asante kwa Yesu ili tuweze kuwa na ushirika na Wewe.
