Psaume 34:9

9Goûtez, et voyez combien le SEIGNEUR est bon ! Heureux l'homme qui trouve en lui un abri !

Beaucoup de gens qui se proclament athées ou agnostiques ne sont pas contre Dieu, mais contre la religion. Ils ne connaissent que les choses à faire et à ne pas faire d'un dogme religieux. Ils ne comprennent pas vraiment que le christianisme est basé sur une relation avec Dieu. Une fois qu'une personne rencontre Dieu, sa vie change.

Encouragez votre ami non croyant à simplement lire les évangiles. Il est hautement improbable qu'ils aient jamais pris une Bible, et encore moins lu une partie. Ce qu'ils savent de Dieu est ce qui a filtré à travers la culture dominante. Ils fondent leurs opinions non pas sur ce qu'ils savent, mais sur ce qu'ils pensent savoir.

Prière

Cher Seigneur, Tu changes des vies. Aide-nous à te montrer les autres à travers nos vies et nos actions. Aide-nous à encourager les autres à t'expérimenter de première main.

Psalm 34:8

8Taste and see that the Lord is good;

blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Many people who are proclaimed atheists or agnostics are not against God, but against religion.  They only know the do’s and don’ts of a religious dogma.  They do not actually understand that Christianity is based on a relationship with God.  Once a person encounters God their life changes.

Encourage your non-beliving friend to simply read the Gospels.  It is highly unlikely that they have ever even picked up a Bible, much less read any of it.  What they know of God is what has filtered through the mainstream culture.  They base their opinions on not what they know, but on what they think they know.

Prayer

Dear Lord, You change lives.  Help us to point others to You through our lives and actions.  Help us to encourage others to experience You first-hand.

Zaburi 34:8

8 Onjeni mwone ya kuwa Bwana yu mwema; Heri mtu yule anayemtumaini.

Watu wengi ambao wametangazwa kuwa hawamwamini Mungu au wasioamini kwamba wao ni watu wa dini sio dhidi ya Mungu, bali wanapinga dini. Wanajua tu ya kufanya na usiyostahili ya fundisho la kidini. Hawaelewi kabisa kwamba Ukristo unategemea uhusiano na Mungu. Mara tu mtu anapokutana na Mungu maisha yake hubadilika.

Tia moyo rafiki yako asiyependa kusoma tu Injili. Haiwezekani kabisa kwamba wamewahi kuchukua hata Bibilia, zaidi ya kusoma yoyote. Kile wanachojua juu ya Mungu ndicho kilichochuja kupitia tamaduni kuu. Wanategemea maoni yao sio kile wanachojua, lakini kwa kile wanachofikiria wanajua.

Mpendwa Bwana, Unabadilisha maisha. Tusaidie kuwaelekeza wengine kwako kupitia maisha na matendo yetu. Tusaidie kuwahimiza wengine wajionee Wewe mwenyewe.
