Josué 1:8

8Ce livre de la loi ne s'éloignera pas de ta bouche; tu le reliras jour et nuit pour veiller à mettre en pratique tout ce qui y est écrit; alors tu mèneras à bien tes entreprises, tu réussiras. 

Comme je l'ai dit sans cesse, nous devons lire et étudier la Bible. Cela nous rendra prospères et nous aidera à réussir. Relisez-le lentement. Il ne dit pas que nous aurons la gloire ou la fortune. Cela ne dit rien sur la richesse ou la gloire. Il dit que nous serons prospères. Il y a ces enseignants qui enseignent qu'une fois que nous serons d'accord avec Dieu, Dieu nous rendra riches. Ce n'est pas ce que dit ce verset, ni aucun autre verset de la Bible. Jésus enseigne et Paul écrit à maintes reprises que notre récompense pour servir Dieu n'est pas une récompense terrestre, mais une récompense céleste.

Notre prospérité et notre succès ne sont pas mesurés par les normes du monde. Ceux qui disent différent enseignent un mensonge. Notre prospérité et notre succès sont mesurés par les normes de Dieu. Nous devons être humbles d'esprit, enseigner, rechercher Dieu et être une bénédiction pour les autres. Ce ne sont pas des normes selon lesquelles le monde vit, ce sont les normes que Jésus a enseignées que nous devons faire pour être ses disciples.

Notre prospérité est de connaître celui qui nous donne le salut. Celui qui nous offre grâce et miséricorde. Celui qui nous a tant aimés qu'il a donné sa vie pour nous. La prospérité du monde ne peut se rapprocher de la prospérité que nous trouvons en étant des disciples sincères et vrais de Jésus-Christ.

Si vous mesurez votre succès selon les normes du monde, qui est votre Seigneur et Maître? Je mesure mon succès par le nombre de bénédictions que je peux accorder aux autres. Pour combien de personnes je peux prier. Combien de personnes je peux aimer.

J'apprends ce que je suis censé faire en lisant et en étudiant la Bible. Ma prospérité vient de la mise en pratique de ces leçons.

Prière

Cher Père céleste, aide-nous à prospérer dans ton royaume en faisant ton œuvre. Utilise-moi pour être une bénédiction pour les autres afin qu'eux aussi sachent ce que sont la vraie prospérité, le succès et l'amour. Les bénédictions que vous nous avez déjà accordées sont énormes, mais nous savons qu'en restant fidèles et fidèles à vous, vous avez la capacité de nous rendre prospères tellement plus profonds et plus significatifs que tout ce que le monde peut offrir.

8This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 

As I have continually said, we must read and study the Bible.  It will make us prosperous and it will help us gain success.  Read that again, slowly.  It does not say we will have fame or fortune.  It says nothing about riches or glory.  It says we will be prosperous.  There are those teachers out there who teach that once we get right with God that God will make us rich.  That is not what this verse is saying, or any other verse in the Bible.  Jesus teaches and Paul writes over and over again that our reward for serving God is not an earthly reward, but a heavenly reward.  

Our prosperity and success is not measured by worldly standards.  Those who say different are teaching a lie.  Our prosperity and success is measured by the standards of God.  We are to be humble in spirit, teachable, seeking God, and being a blessing to others.  Those are not standards that the world lives by, those are the standards that Jesus taught that we must do to be His followers.

Our prosperity is in knowing the one who gives us salvation.  The one who extends grace and mercy to us.  The one who loved us so much that He laid down his life for us.  Worldly prosperity cannot come anywhere close to the prosperity that we find in being sincere and true followers of Jesus Christ.

If you are measuring your success by the standards of the world, who is your Lord and Master?  I measure my success by how many blessings I can bestow upon others.  How many people I can pray for.  How many people I can love.

I learn what I am supposed to do by reading and studying the Bible.  My prosperity comes from putting those lessons into actions.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to be prosperous in Your Kingdom by doing Your work.  Use me to be a blessing to others so that they too may know what true prosperity, success, and love are.  The blessings that you have already bestowed upon us are enormous, but we know that as we remain faithful and true to You that you have the capacity to make us prosperous so much deeper and more meaningful than anything that the world can offer.

8Usiache Kitabu hiki cha Sheria kiondoke kinywani mwako; yatafakari maneno yake usiku na mchana, ili upate kuwa mwangalifu kufanya kila kitu sawasawa na yote yaliyoandikwa ndani yake. Ndipo utakapofanikiwa na kisha utastawi.

Kama nilivyosema kila wakati, lazima tusome na kujifunza Biblia. Itatufanya tufanikiwe na itatusaidia kupata mafanikio. Soma hiyo tena, pole pole. Haisemi tutakuwa na umaarufu au utajiri. Haisemi chochote juu ya utajiri au utukufu. Inasema tutafanikiwa. Kuna wale walimu huko nje ambao hufundisha kwamba mara tu tutakapokuwa sawa na Mungu kwamba Mungu atatutajirisha. Hiyo sio kile kifungu hiki kinasema, au aya nyingine yoyote katika Biblia. Yesu anafundisha na Paulo anaandika tena na tena kwamba thawabu yetu ya kumtumikia Mungu sio thawabu ya kidunia, bali thawabu ya mbinguni.

Ustawi wetu na mafanikio hayapimwi na viwango vya kidunia. Wale wanaosema tofauti wanafundisha uwongo. Ustawi na mafanikio yetu hupimwa na viwango vya Mungu. Tunapaswa kuwa wanyenyekevu katika roho, kufundishwa, kumtafuta Mungu, na kuwa baraka kwa wengine. Hizo sio viwango ambazo ulimwengu unaishi nazo, ndizo viwango ambavyo Yesu alifundisha kwamba lazima tufanye ili kuwa wafuasi Wake.

Ustawi wetu uko katika kumjua yule anayetupatia wokovu. Yule anayetutolea neema na rehema. Yule aliyetupenda sana hata akatoa uhai wake kwa ajili yetu. Ustawi wa kidunia hauwezi kuja karibu na ustawi ambao tunapata katika kuwa wafuasi wa kweli na wa kweli wa Yesu Kristo.

Ikiwa unapima mafanikio yako kwa viwango vya ulimwengu, ni nani Bwana na Mwalimu wako? Ninapima mafanikio yangu kwa baraka ngapi ninaweza kuwapa wengine. Ninaweza kuwaombea watu wangapi. Ninaweza kupenda watu wangapi.

Ninajifunza kile ninachotakiwa kufanya kwa kusoma na kusoma Biblia. Ustawi wangu unatokana na kuweka masomo hayo kwa vitendo.

Maombi

Mpendwa Baba wa Mbinguni, tusaidie kufanikiwa katika Ufalme Wako kwa kufanya kazi Yako. Nitumie kuwa baraka kwa wengine ili wao pia wapate kujua mafanikio ya kweli, mafanikio, na upendo ni nini. Baraka ambazo tayari umetupa ni kubwa sana, lakini tunajua kwamba tunapobaki kuwa waaminifu na wa kweli Kwako kuwa una uwezo wa kutufanya tufanikiwe kwa kina na kuwa na maana zaidi kuliko kitu chochote ambacho ulimwengu unaweza kutoa.
