1 Jean 2:4-6

4Si quelqu'un dit: «Je le connais», mais qu'il n'obéit pas à ses commandements, c'est un menteur et la vérité n'est pas en lui. 5Par contre, si une personne obéit à sa parole, l'amour de Dieu est véritablement parfait en elle. Voilà comment nous pouvons avoir la certitude d'être unis à Dieu. 6Celui qui déclare demeurer uni à lui doit vivre comme Jésus a vécu.

Simple et direct, rencontrer Dieu et avoir Jésus comme votre Seigneur et Sauveur et le Saint-Esprit habitant en vous vous change. Cela ne changera pas vos talents ou vos capacités, mais cela changera votre caractère, votre attitude et vos perspectives. Si vous avez vraiment accepté la Seigneurie de Jésus-Christ, vous êtes une nouvelle création. Vous ne vivez plus comme vous l'avez fait.

S'il n'y a pas de changement dans votre vie, il n'y a pas eu de changement dans votre vie. Si vous dites les mots que les autres disent à cause des sentiments et de la foi dans leur cœur mais ne sont pas vos sentiments ou votre foi, vous êtes inchangé.

Si les gens ne voient pas un changement dans votre comportement, votre attitude, votre éthique de travail et votre langage, vous êtes-vous vraiment abandonné à Dieu? John dit un NON catégorique! Pourquoi pas? Avez-vous dit les mots pour rendre quelqu'un d'autre heureux? Avez-vous marché vers le devant de l'église parce que votre ami l'a fait?

Si vous lisez ceci, vous avez pris la décision de voir au moins ce qu'est le christianisme. Ça c'est bon. Le christianisme consiste à abandonner votre vie à Jésus parce que Jésus est mort afin que vos péchés soient pardonnés. La seule façon dont nous pouvons aller au ciel et venir devant le Dieu saint est par la foi. Cette foi est basée sur la connaissance et la reconnaissance que nous avons péché à la fois contre les autres et contre Dieu. Nous mettons notre croyance et notre foi dans l'acte de Jésus se donnant librement pour prendre nos péchés sur lui-même. Jésus est mort à notre place. Il a payé le prix de nos péchés. Nous lui devons. Dans sa mort, Jésus a pris sur lui les péchés du monde. Dans sa résurrection, Jésus a vaincu la mort, ouvrant une voie pour que nous ayons la vie éternelle.

Pour les chrétiens, le salut ne passe que par l'acceptation de ce que Jésus a fait sur la croix et de sa résurrection d'entre les morts. Notre salut vient du fait que nous professons notre foi et notre allégeance à celui qui a payé notre dette. Notre vie chrétienne est basée sur le fait de suivre l'exemple de Jésus que nous connaissons dans la Bible. Il est également basé sur notre connaissance de la façon dont Dieu veut que nous vivions à partir d'exemples et de prescriptions dans l'Ancien et le Nouveau Testament.

Si vous vivez un mensonge - prétendant être un disciple de Jésus - sachez qu'il y a des gens qui vous aiment qui veulent que vous connaissiez la joie du salut d'avoir Jésus-Christ comme votre Seigneur et Sauveur. Veuillez les contacter. Vous savez qui ils sont.

Jésus nous dit lui-même ce qui arrivera à ceux qui prétendront faussement le suivre. Matthieu 7:21-23

21Ce ne sont pas tous ceux qui me disent: “Seigneur, Seigneur!”, qui entreront dans le royaume des cieux, mais ceux qui font la volonté de mon Père qui est dans les cieux. 22Au jour du jugement, beaucoup me diront: “Seigneur, Seigneur, n'est-ce pas en ton nom que nous avons été prophètes; n'est-ce pas en ton nom que nous avons chassé des démons? n'est-ce pas en ton nom que nous avons accompli de nombreux miracles?” 23Alors je leur déclarerai: “Je ne vous ai jamais connus; allez-vous-en loin de moi, vous qui commettez le mal!”

Si vous avez des doutes sur votre salut, parlez-en à quelqu'un.

Prière

Dieu miséricordieux, merci d'avoir envoyé ton Fils afin qu'il soit un sacrifice pour mes péchés. Je sais que mes péchés sont pardonnés à cause de ce que Jésus a fait. Je vous demande d'entrer dans mon cœur et d'être le Maître et Sauveur de ma vie. Afin que je puisse faire ta volonté et que je sois autorisé à entrer en ta sainte présence.

1 John 2:4-6

4Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

Simple and straightforward, encountering God and having Jesus as your Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit dwelling in you changes you.  It will not change your talents or abilities but it will change your character, your attitude, and your outlook.  If you have truly accepted the Lordship of Jesus Christ, you are a new creation.  You no longer live the way you did.

If there is no change in your life then there has been no change in your life.  If you say the words that others say out of the feelings and faith in their heart but are not your feelings or faith, you are unchanged.

If people do not see a change in your behavior, attitude, work ethic, and language have you truly surrendered to God?  John says an emphatic NO!  Why not?  Did you say the words to make someone else happy?  Did you walk to the front of the church because your friend did?

If you are reading this, you have made the decision to at least see what Christianity is about.  That is good.  Christianity is about surrendering your life to Jesus because Jesus died so that your sins may be forgiven.  The only way that we can get to heaven and come before the Holy God is through faith.  That faith is based on the knowledge and acknowledgement that we have sinned against both others and God.  We put our belief and faith in the act of Jesus giving himself freely to take our sins upon himself.  Jesus died in our place.  He paid the cost of our sins.  We owe him.  In his death, Jesus took the sins of the world upon himself.  In his resurrection Jesus defeated death, opening up a way for us to have eternal life.

For Christians, salvation only comes through accepting what Jesus did on the cross and his resurrection from the dead.  Our salvation comes from us professing our faith and allegiance to the one who paid our debt.  Our Christian life is based on following the example of Jesus that we know about from the Bible.  It is also based on our knowledge of how God wants us to live from examples and prescription in both the Old and New Testaments.

If you are living a lie - pretending to be a follower of Jesus - please know that there are people that love you that want you to know the joy of salvation in having Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.  Please reach out to them.  You know who they are.

Jesus tells us himself what will happen to those to falsely claim to follow him.  Matthew 7:21-23

21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

If you have doubts about your salvation, please speak to someone about it.

Prayer

Merciful God, thank You for sending Your Son that He may be a sacrifice for my sins.  I know that my sins are forgiven because of what Jesus did.  I ask that You come into my heart and be the Master and Savior of my life.  That I may do Your will and be allowed to come into Your Holy presence.

1 Yohana 2:4-6

Ikiwa unasoma hii, umechukua uamuzi angalau kuona Ukristo ni nini. Hiyo ni nzuri. Ukristo ni juu ya kutoa maisha yako kwa Yesu kwa sababu Yesu alikufa ili kusamehewa dhambi zako. Njia pekee ambayo tunaweza kufika mbinguni na kuja mbele za Mungu Mtakatifu ni kupitia imani. Imani hiyo inategemea ujuzi na kukiri kwamba tumetenda dhambi dhidi ya wengine na kwa Mungu. Tunaweka imani yetu na imani katika kitendo cha Yesu kujitoa kwa uhuru kuchukua dhambi zetu. Yesu alikufa badala yetu. Alilipa gharama ya dhambi zetu. Tunamdai. Katika kifo chake, Yesu alichukua dhambi za ulimwengu juu yake. Katika ufufuo wake Yesu alishinda kifo, akitufungulia njia ya kupata uzima wa milele.

Kwa Wakristo, wokovu huja tu kupitia kukubali kile Yesu alifanya msalabani na ufufuo wake kutoka kwa wafu. Wokovu wetu unatoka kwetu tukikiri imani yetu na utii kwa yule aliyelipa deni yetu. Maisha yetu ya Kikristo yanategemea kufuata mfano wa Yesu ambao tunajua kutoka kwa Biblia. Pia inategemea ujuzi wetu wa jinsi Mungu anataka tuishi kutoka kwa mifano na maagizo katika Agano la Kale na Jipya.

Ikiwa unaishi kwa uwongo - unajifanya kuwa mfuasi wa Yesu - tafadhali jua kwamba kuna watu wanaokupenda ambao wanataka ujue furaha ya wokovu kwa kuwa na Yesu Kristo kama Bwana na Mwokozi wako. Tafadhali wasiliana nao. Unajua ni akina nani.

Yesu anatuambia mwenyewe nini kitatokea kwa wale wanaodai uongo kumfuata. Mathayo 7:21-23

Marc 13:31

31Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront pas.

Mark 13:31

31Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Jesus’ teaching is eternal.  Not only were they words to live by in His day, but as you study and read the Old Testament, you realize that much of what Jesus taught is directly from the Old Testament and is addressed not only in the giving of the Law but also repeatedly preached by the prophets.  Being faithful to God, working to attain righteousness, being in right relationship with God and others - none are innovations taught by Jesus.  What Jesus did in His teachings is to get directly to the main point as well as point out the ways that the religious leaders were misinterpreting or misapplying these Truths.

As we read and study the Bible in light of Jesus’ teachings, it becomes clear that God has always wanted us to walk by faith in righteousness and to love our neighbor.

Prayer

Dear Lord, we thank You that Your ways are the best ways.  We thank You that Your Word is eternal.  That You expect nothing less than our complete devotion, praise, obedience, and faith.  Help us to be all these things and to be a blessing to others.

Tunaposoma na kujifunza Biblia kwa kuzingatia mafundisho ya Yesu, inakuwa wazi kwamba Mungu amekuwa akitaka sisi daima tutembee kwa imani katika haki na kumpenda jirani yetu.

Maombi

Mpendwa Bwana, tunakushukuru kwamba njia zako ndio njia bora zaidi. Tunakushukuru kwamba Neno lako ni la milele. Kwamba Unatarajia chochote chini ya kujitolea kwetu kamili, sifa, utii, na imani. Tusaidie kuwa vitu hivi vyote na kuwa baraka kwa wengine.

Proverbes 13:1

1Un enfant qui a de la sagesse tient compte des avertissements de son père, mais un enfant insolent n'accepte aucun reproche.

Nous ne savons pas tout. Peu importe notre âge ou notre niveau d'éducation. Nous ne pouvons pas tout savoir. Mais un jeune ne saura pas tout.

Ce proverbe ne se résume pas à parler d'un adolescent. Il s'agit d'apprendre de ceux qui ont plus de connaissances et d'expérience.

L'une des grandes faiblesses des humains est l'idée que lorsque nous rencontrons quelque chose de nouveau, c'est la première fois que cela se produit. Indépendamment de ce que vous pourriez vivre vous-même, il est très peu probable que vous soyez le premier à traverser une telle situation.

La plus grande invention de tous les temps est la communication écrite. Les gens enregistrent leurs sentiments, leurs actions, leurs transactions commerciales et leurs interactions avec les autres depuis des millénaires. Nous pouvons en fait voyager dans le temps pour voir comment les autres vivaient et ce qu'ils ont vécu dans leur vie. Nous découvrons également ce qu'ils pensaient être les choses les plus importantes.

Une des choses que j'aime dans la Bible, c'est qu'elle est remplie de la vie de gens ordinaires. La Bible présente ces gens tels qu'ils étaient: prendre de bonnes et de mauvaises décisions; montrant les conséquences de leurs actes; racontant leurs émotions, leurs épreuves et leurs triomphes. À travers tout cela, nous voyons que Dieu nous aime toujours et veut nous enseigner.

Écouter les instructions est sage. Apprendre par procuration est sage. Nous n'avons pas à réinventer la roue à chaque génération. Nous n'avons pas à partir de la case départ chaque fois que nous fondons notre propre famille.

Nous avons une si grande ressource dans la Bible. Nous voyons comment Dieu agit dans la vie de ceux qui lui sont fidèles et engagés. Nous voyons les conséquences de la peur, du doute et de la rébellion. Nous pouvons apprendre de Dieu en lisant comment il a traité les autres. Nous pouvons apprendre de Dieu en lisant les enseignements de Jésus. Nous pouvons découvrir nos voies de péché en voyant comment la Bible traite le péché.

Nous ne connaîtrons jamais la plénitude de Dieu tant que nous ne serons pas enlevés de cette terre et amenés dans son royaume. Mais nous pouvons nous efforcer de comprendre la plénitude de Dieu en lisant et en étudiant sa Parole.

Nous arrivons à la connaissance de Dieu et de son salut en étant enseignables. En admettant que nous ne savons pas tout. Que nous pouvons être enseignés par les autres.

Prière

Seigneur, aide-nous à te chercher. Aidez-nous à rechercher la sagesse. Nous devons être humbles devant vous et vous permettre de nous parler honnêtement et ouvertement. Aidez-nous à rechercher vos voies. Aide-nous à transmettre ce que nous savons de toi afin que les autres puissent expérimenter ta miséricorde, ta grâce et ton amour.

Proverbs 13:1

1A wise son hears his father’s instruction,

but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.

We do not know it all.  No matter our age or education level.  We cannot know it all.  But a young person will not know it all.  

This proverb is more than simply talking about a teenager.  It is talking about learning from those who have more knowledge and experience.

One of the great foibles of humans is the idea that when we encounter something new it is the first time it has ever happened.  Regardless of what you may experience yourself, it is very doubtful that you are the first to go through such a situation.

The greatest invention of all time is written communication.  People have been recording their feelings, actions, business transactions, and interactions with others for millenia.  We can actually travel back in time to see how others lived and what they dealt with in their lives.  We also find out what they thought were the most important things.

One of the things I love about the Bible is that it is filled with the lives of ordinary people.  The Bible presents these people as they were - making good and bad decisions; showing the consequences of their actions; recounting their emotions, trials, and triumphs.  Through it all, we see that God still loves us and wants to teach us.

Listening to instruction is wise.  Learning vicariously is wise.  We do not have to reinvent the wheel in each generation.  We do not have to start from square one each time we start our own family.

We have such a great resource in the Bible.  We see how God works in the lives of those who are faithful and committed to Him.  We see the consequences of fear, doubt, and rebelliousness.  We can learn of God by reading about how He has dealt with others.  We can learn of God by reading the teachings of Jesus.  We can learn of our sinful ways by seeing how the Bible deals with sin.

We will never know the fullness of God until we are taken from this earth and brought into His Kingdom.  But we can strive to understand God’s fullness by reading and studying His Word.

We come to knowledge of God and His salvation by being teachable.  By admitting that we do not know it all.  That we can be taught by others.

Prayer

Lord, help us to seek You.  Help us to seek wisdom.  We must be humble before You and allow You to speak honestly and openly to us.  Help us to seek Your ways.  Help us to pass along what we do know of You so that others may experience Your mercy, grace, and love.

Amen  

Mithali 13:1

1Mwana mwenye hekima husikia mafundisho ya babaye,

bali mwenye dharau hasikilizi maonyo.

Hatujui yote. Haijalishi umri wetu au kiwango cha elimu. Hatuwezi kujua yote. Lakini kijana hajui yote.

Methali hii ni zaidi ya kuzungumza tu juu ya kijana. Ni kuzungumza juu ya kujifunza kutoka kwa wale ambao wana ujuzi zaidi na uzoefu.

Hatutajua kamwe utimilifu wa Mungu mpaka tutakapochukuliwa kutoka hapa duniani na kuletwa katika Ufalme Wake. Lakini tunaweza kujitahidi kuelewa utimilifu wa Mungu kwa kusoma na kusoma Neno Lake.

Tunapata kumjua Mungu na wokovu wake kwa kufundishika. Kwa kukubali kuwa hatujui yote. Kwamba tunaweza kufundishwa na wengine.

Maombi

Bwana, tusaidie kukutafuta. Tusaidie kutafuta hekima. Lazima tuwe wanyenyekevu mbele Yako na Kuruhusu uzungumze kwa uaminifu na wazi kwetu. Tusaidie kutafuta njia zako. Tusaidie kupitisha kile tunachokujua kutoka kwako ili wengine wapate rehema Zako, neema na upendo wako.

Matthieu 18:21-22

21Pierre s'approcha de Jésus et lui demanda: «Seigneur, combien de fois pardonnerai-je à mon frère s'il fait ce qui est mal envers moi? jusqu'à sept fois?» – 22« Non, dit Jésus, je ne te dis pas jusqu'à sept fois, mais jusqu'à soixante-dix fois sept fois.»

Pierre posait une question sincère à Jésus. Le règlement des scribes et des pharisiens était que vous devriez pardonner à quelqu'un trois fois. Peter a plus que doublé cela et a utilisé un nombre qui a également les connotations de plénitude et de perfection, sept. Peter demande est-ce que je double plus que le nombre standard de fois pour pardonner?

La réponse de Jésus n’est pas un nombre littéral et n’aurait pas été considérée comme telle. Vous ne devez pas tenir un journal comptant le nombre de fois que vous avez pardonné à quelqu'un et ne pas lui pardonner la 491e fois. Jésus dit clairement dans la parabole qui suit que nous devons pardonner comme Dieu pardonne.

Notre pardon doit être entier, complet et sincère. Jésus raconte la parabole dans le cadre du Royaume des Cieux - ceux qui se sont pardonnés et ceux qui ont accepté Jésus comme leur Seigneur et Sauveur. Tout comme Jésus l’a enseigné dans la prière du Seigneur, nous devons demander pardon pour nos offenses comme nous pardonnons aux autres leurs offenses contre nous.

Remarquez ici qu'il n'est pas question de pardonner uniquement à ceux qui viennent demander notre pardon. La parabole en parle, mais cet enseignement et la conclusion que Jésus fait au sujet du pardon est que vous le faites simplement comme Dieu le fait.

Le pardon n'inclut pas automatiquement que vous continuiez votre association avec la personne qui vous a fait du tort. Si la personne qui vous a fait du tort est un chrétien, il y a des étapes spécifiques à suivre dans le processus de réconciliation présenté dans la Bible. Ce n'est pas parce que vous pardonnez que vous devez rester dans une relation toxique. Cela ne signifie pas que vous subissez continuellement des abus. Vous pouvez pardonner et passer à autre chose. Il nous est commandé de prier pour eux. Il nous est commandé de les aimer. On ne nous commande pas de vivre avec eux.

Une autre chose à réaliser est que la personne que vous pardonnez peut ne pas accepter votre pardon. Nous le savons du fait qu’il y a des millions de personnes à qui on offre le pardon de leurs péchés et qui disent encore non au don de grâce et de miséricorde de Dieu. Si quelqu'un peut être si audacieux et impétueux de rejeter le pardon de Dieu, cela ne devrait pas nous surprendre qu’il rejette notre pardon.

En tant que chrétiens, nous sommes censés être des gens du Royaume. Il est censé y avoir quelque chose de différent dans la façon dont nous nous conduisons en fonction des normes du Royaume. Nous devons être distingués du monde par nos actions, nos discours et nos attitudes. Lorsque nous suivons Jésus, nous nous mettons dans une position différente de celle où nous vivions comme le monde vit. Avoir un cœur de pardon est l'une des façons dont nous vivons selon les valeurs du Royaume et démontrons aux autres que nous pardonnons depuis que nous avons été pardonnés.

Prière

Cher Seigneur, merci de m'avoir pardonné. Je sais que je suis un pécheur et que je t'ai déçu tant de fois. Dans la tristesse, je reviens vers vous en demandant votre pardon et que vous continuez à me changer pour devenir plus chrétien. Aide-moi à pardonner aux autres qui m'ont fait du tort comme tu me pardonnes.

Matthew 18:21-22

21Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.”

Peter was asking a sincere question to Jesus.  The regulations of the scribes and Pharisees was that you should forgive someone three times.  Peter more than doubles that and used a number that also has the connotations of fullness and perfection, seven.  Peter is asking do I more than double the standard number of times to forgive?

Jesus’ reply is not a literal number and would not have been seen as such.  You are not to keep a journal counting the number of times you have forgiven someone and then not forgive them on the 491st time.  Jesus makes it clear in the parable that follows that we are to forgive as God forgives.  

Our forgiveness must be whole, complete, and heartfelt.  Jesus tells the parable in the framework of the Kingdom of Heaven-- those who have been forgiven themselves and those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Just as Jesus taught in the Lord’s Prayer, we are to ask forgiveness of our trespasses as we forgive others of their trespasses against us.

Notice here there is no mention of forgiving only those who come and ask our forgiveness.  The parable talks about that, but this teaching and the conclusion that Jesus makes about forgiveness is you just do so as God does.

Forgiveness does not automatically include that you continue your association with the person who has wronged you.  If the person who has wronged you is a Christian there are some specific steps to take in the reconciliation process presented in the Bible.  Just because you forgive does not mean that you must remain in a toxic relationship.  It does not mean that you continually take abuse.  You can forgive and then move on.  We are commanded to pray for them.  We are commanded to love them.  We are not commanded to live with them.

Another thing to realize is that the person you forgive may not accept your forgiveness.  We know this from the fact that there are millions of people who are offered the forgiveness of their sins and yet still say no to God’s gift of grace and mercy.  If someone can be so bold and brash to reject God’s forgiveness it should not surprise us that they would reject our forgiveness.

We, as Christians, are supposed to be Kingdom people.  There is supposed to be something different in how we conduct ourselves based on Kingdom standards.  We should be distinguable from the world in our actions, speech, and attitudes.  When we follow Jesus, we have put ourselves in a different position than when we were living as the world lives.  Having a heart of forgiveness is one of the ways that we live according to Kingdom values and demonstrate to others that we forgive since we have been forgiven.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You that You have forgiven me.  I know that I am a sinner and that I have disappointed You so many times.  In sorrow, I return to You asking for your forgiveness and that You continue to change me to become more Christlike.  Help me to forgive others who have wronged me as You forgive me.

21Ndipo Petro akamjia Yesu na kumuuliza, “Bwana, ndugu yangu anikosee mara ngapi nami nimsamehe? Je, hata mara saba?”

22Yesu akamjibu, “Sikuambii hata mara saba, bali hata saba mara sabini.”

Petro alikuwa anauliza swali la dhati kwa Yesu. Kanuni za waandishi na Mafarisayo zilikuwa kwamba unapaswa kumsamehe mtu mara tatu. Peter alizidi hiyo mara mbili na akatumia nambari ambayo pia ina maana ya ukamilifu na ukamilifu, saba. Peter anauliza je, mimi zaidi ya mara mbili ya idadi ya kusamehe?

Jibu la Yesu sio idadi halisi na isingeonekana kama hivyo. Haupaswi kuweka jarida kuhesabu idadi ya mara ambazo umemsamehe mtu na kisha usimsamehe kwa wakati wa 491. Yesu anaiweka wazi katika mfano unaofuata kwamba tunapaswa kusamehe kama vile Mungu husamehe.

Msamaha wetu lazima uwe kamili, kamili, na kutoka moyoni. Yesu anaelezea mfano huo katika mfumo wa Ufalme wa Mbinguni - wale ambao wamesamehewa wao wenyewe na wale ambao wamemkubali Yesu kama Bwana na Mwokozi wao. Kama vile Yesu alifundisha katika Maombi ya Bwana, tunapaswa kuomba msamaha wa makosa yetu tunapowasamehe wengine makosa yao dhidi yetu.

Angalia hapa hakuna kutajwa kwa kusamehe tu wale wanaokuja na kuomba msamaha wetu. Mfano unazungumza juu ya hayo, lakini mafundisho haya na hitimisho ambalo Yesu hufanya juu ya msamaha ni wewe tu fanya hivyo kama Mungu anavyofanya.

Msamaha haujumuishi moja kwa moja kuendelea na uhusiano wako na mtu aliyekukosea. Ikiwa mtu aliyekukosea ni Mkristo kuna hatua maalum za kuchukua katika mchakato wa upatanisho uliowasilishwa katika Biblia. Kwa sababu unasamehe haimaanishi kwamba lazima ubaki katika uhusiano wenye sumu. Haimaanishi kwamba unachukua unyanyasaji kila wakati. Unaweza kusamehe na kisha kuendelea mbele. Tumeamriwa kuwaombea. Tumeamriwa kuwapenda. Hatujaamriwa kuishi nao.

Jambo lingine kutambua ni kwamba mtu unayemsamehe anaweza asikubali msamaha wako. Tunajua hii kutokana na ukweli kwamba kuna mamilioni ya watu ambao hutolewa msamaha wa dhambi zao na bado wanasema hapana kwa zawadi ya Mungu ya neema na rehema. Ikiwa mtu anaweza kuwa jasiri na mkali kukataa msamaha wa Mungu haipaswi kutushangaza kwamba angekataa msamaha wetu.

Sisi, kama Wakristo, tunapaswa kuwa watu wa Ufalme. Inapaswa kuwa na kitu tofauti katika jinsi tunavyojiendesha kulingana na viwango vya Ufalme. Tunapaswa kutofautishwa na ulimwengu katika matendo yetu, usemi, na mitazamo. Tunapomfuata Yesu, tumejiweka katika hali tofauti na wakati tulikuwa tunaishi kama ulimwengu unavyoishi. Kuwa na moyo wa msamaha ni moja wapo ya njia ambazo tunaishi kulingana na maadili ya Ufalme na kuonyesha kwa wengine kwamba tunasamehe kwa kuwa tumesamehewa.

Maombi

Mpendwa Bwana, asante kwa kuwa umenisamehe. Ninajua kwamba mimi ni mwenye dhambi na kwamba nimekukatisha tamaa mara nyingi sana. Kwa huzuni, ninarudi kwako kuomba msamaha wako na kwamba Unaendelea kunibadilisha ili nifanane na Kristo. Nisaidie kuwasamehe wengine ambao wamenikosea kama wewe unanisamehe.

Proverbes 3:5-6

5Ne te fie pas à ta propre intelligence, mais place toute ta confiance dans le Seigneur. 6Appuie-toi sur lui dans tout ce que tu entreprends et il guidera tes pas. 

Proverbes est une collection de paroles de sagesse et d'avertissement directes, basées sur l'expérience de la vie. Les proverbes sont de courtes déclarations mémorables qui vous accompagnent. Beaucoup sont rassemblés dans ce qu'on appelle des «couplets» - deux déclarations qui disent la même chose en utilisant des mots différents, généralement avec la deuxième déclaration donnant des informations supplémentaires ou s'appuyant sur la dernière ligne de la première déclaration.

C'est une question à mémoriser et à réfléchir. Faites entièrement confiance à Dieu. Ce n'est pas parce que cela n'a aucun sens pour vous! Ayez confiance en Dieu, ayez foi en Dieu. Dans tout ce que vous faites, pensez ou dites, pensez à la façon dont Dieu le jugerait. Si vous pensez à la façon dont Dieu réagirait à votre action, pensée ou parole avant de faire ou de dire quelque chose et que Dieu n'approuverait pas, alors ne le faites pas ou ne le dites pas! Gardez Dieu au premier plan de votre esprit et Dieu rendra vos chemins droits!

Les problèmes surviennent lorsque le «je» se met en travers du chemin. Nous disons que nous avons confiance en Dieu, mais ensuite nous pensons d'abord à nous-mêmes. Nous réfléchissons à la manière dont cela nous profiterait - pas à Dieu, pas aux autres.

Nous apprenons à connaître le plan de Dieu, comment nous devons penser d’abord aux autres et comment nous devons prendre nos décisions en fonction de la volonté de Dieu en cherchant à connaître la volonté de Dieu. Nous faisons cela en lisant et en étudiant la Bible, en priant, en louant Dieu et en communiant avec d'autres croyants.

Il est facile de faire confiance à Dieu dans les bons jours. Lorsque les choses semblent aller bien - dans la routine habituelle des choses. Nous sommes souvent tellement absorbés par la routine que nous ne parvenons pas à reconnaître la grâce et la miséricorde de Dieu. Lorsque les mauvais jours arrivent, nous pouvons nous tourner vers Dieu et lui demander où il est. Il est là où il a toujours été. Là pour faire confiance et s'appuyer - là pour louer et vénérer. Le verset 6 nous dit de le reconnaître dans tout ce que nous faisons, dans toutes les situations, dans les bons et les mauvais jours. Ce n'est pas parce que nous considérons que c'est une bonne ou une mauvaise journée qu'il en est ainsi (ne vous appuyez pas sur votre propre compréhension).

Prière

Notre Père céleste, merci d'être toujours là. Que tu nous connais. Que vous savez ce qui est le mieux pour nous. Aidez-nous à ce que nous puissions vous faire pleinement confiance. Aidez-nous à marcher pleinement sur vos chemins. Aidez-nous à toujours vous reconnaître.

Proverbs 3:5-6

5Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

and do not lean on your own understanding.

6In all your ways acknowledge Him,

and He will make straight your paths.

Proverbs is a collection of direct, life-experience based, words of wisdom and warning.  Proverbs are short memorable statements that stay with you.  Many are put together in what are called “couplets” - two statements that say the same thing using different words, usually with the second statement giving additional information or building on the last line of the first statement.

This is one to memorize and reflect upon.  Completely trust in God.  Just because it does not make sense to you does not mean anything!  Trust in God, have faith in God.  In everything that you do, think, or say think about how God would judge it.  If you think about how God would react to your deed, thought, or word before you do or say something and God would not approve, then do not do or say it!  Keep God at the foremost of your mind and God will make your paths straight!

The problems come in when the “I” gets in the way.  We say that we trust in God, but then we think about ourselves first.  We think about how it would benefit ourselves - not God, not others.

We get to know what God’s plan is, how we should think of others first, and how we are to make our decisions based on God’s will by seeking to know the will of God.  We do this through reading and studying the Bible, through prayer, through praising God, and through fellowship with other believers.

It is easy to trust God in the good days.  When things seem to be going along smoothly -- in the regular routine of things.  We often get so wrapped up in the routine that we fail to acknowledge the grace and mercy of God.  When the bad days come we may turn to God and ask Him where He is.  He is where He has always been.  There to trust and lean on - there to praise and revere.  Verse 6 tells us to acknowledge Him in everything we do, in all situations, in the good days and the bad.  Just because we consider it a good or bad day does not mean that it is such (do not lean on your own understanding).

Prayer

Our Heavenly Father, thank You that You are always there.  That You know us.  That You know what is the best for us.  Help us that we may fully trust in You.  Help us to fully walk in Your paths.  Help us to always acknowledge You.

Mithali 3:5-6

5Mtumaini Bwana kwa moyo wako wote

wala usizitegemee akili zako mwenyewe;

6katika njia zako zote mkiri yeye,

naye atayanyoosha mapito yako.

Mithali ni mkusanyiko wa moja kwa moja, uzoefu wa maisha msingi, maneno ya hekima na onyo. Methali ni taarifa fupi zisizokumbukwa ambazo zinakaa kwako. Wengi wamewekwa pamoja katika kile kinachoitwa "wanandoa" - taarifa mbili ambazo zinasema kitu kimoja kwa kutumia maneno tofauti, kawaida na taarifa ya pili ikitoa habari ya ziada au kujenga kwenye mstari wa mwisho wa taarifa ya kwanza.

Hii ni moja ya kukariri na kutafakari. Mtumaini Mungu kabisa. Kwa sababu tu haina maana kwako haimaanishi chochote! Mtumaini Mungu, uwe na imani kwa Mungu. Katika kila jambo unalofanya, kufikiria, au kusema fikiria juu ya jinsi Mungu angeihukumu. Ikiwa unafikiria juu ya jinsi Mungu atakavyoitikia tendo lako, mawazo yako, au neno lako kabla ya kufanya au kusema kitu na Mungu hatakubali, basi usifanye au sema! Mweke Mungu mbele ya akili yako na Mungu atanyoosha mapito yako!

Shida huja wakati "mimi" inakuingia. Tunasema kwamba tunamtumaini Mungu, lakini basi tunajifikiria sisi wenyewe kwanza. Tunafikiria juu ya jinsi itakavyofaidika sisi wenyewe - sio Mungu, sio wengine.

Tunapata kujua mpango wa Mungu ni nini, jinsi tunapaswa kufikiria wengine kwanza, na jinsi tunapaswa kufanya maamuzi yetu kulingana na mapenzi ya Mungu kwa kutafuta kujua mapenzi ya Mungu. Tunafanya hivyo kwa kusoma na kusoma Biblia, kwa njia ya maombi, kwa kumsifu Mungu, na kupitia ushirika na waumini wengine.

Ni rahisi kumwamini Mungu katika siku njema. Wakati mambo yanaonekana kwenda sawa - katika utaratibu wa kawaida wa mambo. Mara nyingi tunakumbwa sana na utaratibu kwamba tunashindwa kutambua neema na rehema za Mungu. Siku mbaya zinapofika tunaweza kumgeukia Mungu na kumuuliza yuko wapi. Yeye ni mahali ambapo amekuwa daima. Kuna kuamini na kutegemea - huko kusifu na kuheshimu. Mstari wa 6 unatuambia kumtambua katika kila kitu tunachofanya, katika hali zote, katika siku njema na mbaya. Kwa sababu tu tunaiona kuwa siku nzuri au mbaya haimaanishi kuwa ni kama hiyo (usitegemee uelewa wako mwenyewe).

Maombi

Baba yetu wa Mbinguni, asante kwamba wewe uko kila wakati. Kwamba Wewe unatujua. Kwamba Unajua ni nini bora kwetu. Tusaidie ili tukutegemee kabisa. Tusaidie kutembea kikamilifu katika mapito Yako. Tusaidie kukukubali kila wakati.
