Hébreux 13:1-2
L'hospitalité est l'un des témoins essentiels de la vie chrétienne. Jésus nous montre la voie en parlant à ceux qui étaient indésirables à son époque. Aujourd'hui, nous devons nous rappeler que l'hospitalité est l'un des fondements du christianisme. Soyez gentil avec l'étranger parmi vous. Cherchez le terrain d'entente entre vous afin de pouvoir partager le message de l'Évangile avec eux.
Jésus enseigne comment nous devons traiter l'étranger parmi nous :
Matthieu 25:35-40
35 Car j'avais faim et tu m'as donné à manger, j'avais soif et tu m'as donné à boire, j'étais un étranger et tu m'as invité à entrer, 36 J'avais besoin de vêtements et tu m'as habillé, j'étais malade et tu as veillé moi, j'étais en prison et tu es venu me rendre visite.
37 « Alors les justes lui répondront : « Seigneur, quand t'avons-nous vu avoir faim et te nourrir, ou avoir soif et te donner à boire ? 38 Quand t'avons-nous vu étranger et t'avons-nous invité à entrer, ou avons-nous besoin de vêtements et de te vêtir ? 39 Quand t’avons-nous vu malade ou en prison et sommes-nous allés te rendre visite ?’
40 « Le roi répondra : ‘En vérité, je vous le dis, tout ce que vous avez fait pour l’un de mes plus petits frères et sœurs, vous l’avez fait pour moi.’
L'amour du Christ est démontré dans la façon dont nous traitons l'étranger. Nous devons réaliser que ce sont des êtres humains qui ont besoin du salut de Dieu. Nous devons les voir comme des personnes qui ont les mêmes sentiments et émotions que nous. Nous devons faire preuve de compassion. Nous devons étendre la grâce. Nous devons les voir comme Jésus les verrait.
Prière
Cher Seigneur, aide-nous à voir avec tes yeux. Aide-nous à toucher avec tes mains. Aide-nous à écouter avec tes oreilles. Que nos premières pensées soient d'amour et de compassion. Aide-nous à voir les besoins que nous pouvons combler en ton nom. Aide-nous à être l'ami des sans-amis. Aide-nous à partager Ton amour avec ceux qui peuvent sembler peu aimables. Aide-nous à voir les gens comme toi.

Hebrews 13:1-2
Hospitality is one of the key witnesses to the Christian life. Jesus shows us the way by speaking to those who were undesirable in his day. Today we need to remember that hospitality is one of the bedrocks of Christianity. Be kind to the stranger among you. Look for the common ground between you so that you may be able to share the Gospel message with them.
Jesus teaches on how we are to treat the stranger among us:
Matthew 25:35-40
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
The love of Christ is demonstrated in how we treat the stranger. We need to realize that they are human beings in need of God’s salvation. We need to see them as people who have feelings and emotions the same as we do. We need to show compassion. We need to extend grace. We need to see them as Jesus would see them.
Prayer
Dear Lord, help us to see with Your eyes. Help us to touch with Your hands. Help us to listen with Your ears. May our first thoughts be of love and compassion. Help us to see the needs that we can fulfill in Your name. Help us to be a friend to the friendless. Help us to share Your love with those who may seem unloveable. Help us to see people as You do.

Waebrania 13:1-2
Ukarimu ni moja wapo ya mashuhuda muhimu kwa maisha ya Kikristo. Yesu anatuonyesha njia kwa kuzungumza na wale ambao hawakutakikana katika siku zake. Leo tunahitaji kukumbuka kuwa ukarimu ni moja ya msingi wa Ukristo. Muwe wema kwa mgeni aliye kati yenu. Tafuta msingi unaokubaliana kati yako ili uweze kushiriki ujumbe wa Injili nao.
Yesu anafundisha juu ya jinsi tunapaswa kumtendea mgeni kati yetu:
Mathayo 25: 35-40
35 Kwa maana nilikuwa na njaa ukanipa chakula, nilikuwa na kiu na ukanipa kitu cha kunywa, nilikuwa mgeni na mkanialika, 36 nilihitaji nguo na kunivaa, nilikuwa mgonjwa na mlinitunza mimi, nilikuwa gerezani na mlinitembelea. '
37 "Ndipo wenye haki watamjibu, 'Bwana, ni lini tulikuona ukiwa na njaa tukakulisha, au ukiwa na kiu tukakupa kitu cha kunywa? 38 Tulikuona lini mgeni na tukakukaribisha, au unahitaji nguo na kukuvika? 39 Tulikuona lini mgonjwa au gerezani na tukaenda kukutembelea? ’
40 "Mfalme atajibu," Kweli nakwambia, chochote ulichomfanyia mmojawapo wa ndugu zangu hawa na dada zangu, umenifanyia mimi. '
Upendo wa Kristo unaonyeshwa katika jinsi tunavyomtendea mgeni. Tunahitaji kutambua kwamba wao ni wanadamu wanaohitaji wokovu wa Mungu. Tunahitaji kuwaona kama watu ambao wana hisia na hisia sawa na sisi. Tunahitaji kuonyesha huruma. Tunahitaji kupanua neema. Tunahitaji kuwaona kama vile Yesu angewaona.
Maombi
Mpendwa Bwana, tusaidie kuona kwa macho yako. Tusaidie kugusa kwa mikono Yako. Tusaidie kusikiliza na masikio yako. Mawazo yetu ya kwanza yawe ya upendo na huruma. Tusaidie kuona mahitaji ambayo tunaweza kutimiza kwa jina lako. Tusaidie kuwa marafiki wa wasio na marafiki. Tusaidie kushiriki upendo Wako na wale ambao wanaonekana hawapendi. Tusaidie kuwaona watu kama Wewe.
