Proverbes 1:7

7La crainte du SEIGNEUR est le commencement de la connaissance ; la sagesse et l'instruction, voilà ce que les imbéciles méprisent.

Comprendre la crainte, la puissance et la puissance de Dieu est le commencement de la sagesse. Je ne nous humilions pas, il n'y a aucun moyen que nous puissions être utilisés par Dieu. Nous devons reconnaître que nous sommes la créature et que Dieu est le Créateur. Nous devons comprendre de toutes les manières que nous ne sommes PAS l'Être suprême. Nous ne sommes PAS l'autorité ultime.

Il y a un état d'esprit dans le monde d'aujourd'hui selon lequel les humains sont capables de tout, y compris de contrôler les événements naturels, le temps et le climat. Mon argument contre cela est que nous avons des preuves montrant que de nombreuses parties du désert du Sahara étaient des prairies luxuriantes dans le passé. Nous avons des preuves que la chaîne de montagnes des Andes était autrefois un fond marin. Nous savons que les glaciers ont couvert toute l'Europe à la fois. J'ai parcouru le bassin de la mer Méditerranée et vu la destruction totale des tremblements de terre qui ont conduit à l'abandon d'immenses villes. Nous avons des archives historiques et des artefacts archéologiques qui nous montrent que les volcans éclatent régulièrement et modifient complètement non seulement le paysage, mais aussi l'équilibre économique du pouvoir. La peste bubonique a ravagé l'Europe et changé le cours de l'histoire. Au cours de la dernière décennie, une éruption volcanique au Groenland a complètement arrêté tout le trafic aérien pendant des semaines.

Dans notre orgueil, les humains croient que nous contrôlons. Nous pouvons affecter tout ce que nous touchons - pourtant nous avons vu en seulement un an à quel point nous en savons peu et combien nous avons peu de pouvoir contre le monde naturel.

Nous sommes la créature. Nous sommes chargés d'être de bons gestionnaires de ce que nous avons. Mais tout est dans le pouvoir, la puissance et le contrôle de YHWH - le Créateur, le Supporteur et le Donneur de Vie. Nous commençons - COMMENCER - à toucher à la connaissance lorsque nous voyons avec admiration et nous nous demandons qui est Dieu.

Prière

Oh, Dieu de l'Univers, Tu nous as connus quand nous étions dans l'utérus. Vous avez créé le monde sans notre conseil et vous continuez à le maintenir comme bon vous semble. Puissions-nous toujours regarder ta création avec admiration et émerveillement, puis réaliser à quel point nous devons être émerveillés et émerveillés par toi.

7The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge;

fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Understanding the awe, power, and might of God is the beginning of wisdom.  I we do not humble ourselves there is no way we can be used by God.  We have to acknowledge that we are the creature and God is the Creator.  We have to understand in all ways we are NOT the Supreme Being.  We are NOT the Ultimate Authority.

There is a mindset in the world today that humans are capable of anything, including controlling natural events and the weather and climate.  My argument against that is we have evidence showing that many parts of the Sahara Desert were lush grasslands in the past.  We have evidence that the Andes mountain range was once a seabed.  We know that glaciers covered all of Europe at one time.  I have traveled throughout the Mediterranean Sea basin and seen the utter destruction of earthquakes that led to the abandonment of huge cities.  We have historical records and archeological artifacts that show us that volcanoes regularly erupt and completely change not only the landscape, but also the economic balance of power.  The Bubonic Plague ravaged Europe and changed the course of history.  Within the last decade, a volcanic eruption in Greenland completely stopped all air traffic for weeks.

In our hubris, humans believe that we are in control.  We can affect everything we touch - yet we have seen in just one year how little we know and how little power we actually have against the natural world.

We are the creature.  We are charged with being good stewards of what we have.  But all is in the power and might and control of YHWH - the Creator, Sustainer, and Lifegiver.  We begin -- BEGIN -- to touch on knowledge when we see with awe and wonder who God is.

Prayer

Oh, God of the Universe, You knew us when we were in the womb.  You created the world without our counsel and You continue to maintain it as You see fit.  May we always look at Your creation with awe and wonder and then realize how much we need to be in awe and wonder of You.

7Kumcha Bwana ndicho chanzo cha maarifa,

lakini wapumbavu hudharau hekima na adabu.

Kuelewa hofu, nguvu, na uweza wa Mungu ndio mwanzo wa hekima. Mimi hatujishushi hakuna njia tunaweza kutumiwa na Mungu. Lazima tukubali kuwa sisi ni kiumbe na Mungu ndiye Muumba. Tunapaswa kuelewa kwa njia zote sisi SISI Yule aliye Mkuu. SISI SI Mamlaka ya Mwisho.

Kuna mawazo ulimwenguni leo kwamba wanadamu wana uwezo wa chochote, pamoja na kudhibiti hafla za asili na hali ya hewa na hali ya hewa. Hoja yangu dhidi ya hiyo tuna ushahidi unaoonyesha kuwa sehemu nyingi za Jangwa la Sahara zilikuwa nyasi zenye majani hapo zamani. Tunao ushahidi kwamba milima ya Andes hapo zamani ilikuwa bahari. Tunazo kumbukumbu za kihistoria na vitu vya akiolojia ambavyo vinatuonyesha kwamba volkano huibuka mara kwa mara na kubadilisha kabisa sio tu mazingira, bali pia usawa wa uchumi wa nguvu. Janga la Bubonic liliharibu Ulaya na kubadilisha mwendo wa historia. Ndani ya muongo mmoja uliopita, mlipuko wa volkano huko Greenland ulisimamisha kabisa trafiki zote za anga kwa wiki.

Katika hubris zetu, wanadamu wanaamini kwamba sisi ni katika udhibiti. Tunaweza kuathiri kila kitu tunachogusa - lakini tumeona katika mwaka mmoja tu jinsi kidogo tunavyojua na nguvu kidogo tunayo dhidi ya ulimwengu wa asili.

Sisi ndio kiumbe. Tunadaiwa kuwa mawakili wazuri wa kile tulicho nacho. Lakini yote yamo katika nguvu na uweza na udhibiti wa YHWH - Muumba, Msaidizi, na Mtoaji wa Uhai. Tunaanza - ANZA - kugusa maarifa tunapoona kwa hofu na kujiuliza Mungu ni nani.

Maombi

Ee, Mungu wa Ulimwengu, Ulitujua tulipokuwa tumboni. Uliumba ulimwengu bila ushauri wetu na Unaendelea kuidumisha kwa kadri Uona inafaa. Na tuangalie kila wakati uumbaji wako kwa hofu na maajabu na kisha tutambue ni kiasi gani tunahitaji kuwa na hofu na kushangaza kwako.
